I am the only person in my family that is allergic to wheat.
Wheat-free (gluten-free) cake mixes are a bit on the expensive side, so I haven't tried any out yet.
Today, a friend of mine mentioned the idea of making a cake in a coffee mug in the microwave. It sounded appealing, so I went on the internet to see what I could find. Sure enough, I found something on YouTube that showed how to make my own little gluten-free cake in my own little coffee cup in my own microwave! I haven't tried it myself yet. At this point, it's enough for me to know that I can make my own little wheatless cake if I ever get tired of just avoiding cake altogether.
